Murray, Shaelene
Shaelene Murray studied ceramics at East Sydney TAFE, followed by a course in jewellery at Randwick TAFE, and a degree in Visual Art at Sydney College of the Arts. She was the first artist to exhibit at the Mura Clay Gallery in Newtown when it opened in 1991. She now works in media other than clay, and exhibited an object made of stainless steel at Mura Clay's 10th anniversary in 2001. Her ceramic works are incised 'Shaelene Murray'.
