Toniolo, Mandy
Amanda (Mandy) Toniolo has been an artist since 1970, first working as a textile artist in the fashion industry, then establishing Jackson's Ceramics in Toorak, Victoria, in 1990. Her work, which extends to furniture design and decoupage, is influenced by Antonio Gaudi and Henri Matisse. Her ceramic work is mainly handbuilt, with vivid, expressionistic, figurative decoration. She signs her work M Toniolo, Mandy T or MT, all painted.
