Suzi Tyson was a member of the Inner City Clay Workers gallery in Glebe, NSW, during the 1990s, making functional work and mythological bird sculptures. Her work was reviewed in Pottery in Australia, 37/1 (1998):45-7 (Helen Swann, "'Shimmer': An exhibition of new work by Vicki Grima, Nicola Purcell and Suzi Tyson at Inner City Clay Workers Gallery"). She now lives and works in Tasmania, where she retrained as a printmaker at the University of Tasmania, graduating in 2005. During this time, she continued to be involved in ceramic activities, joining the Tasmanian Potters’ Society (Southern branch) Inc., and running classes at their pottery studio. Her ceramic work is marked with an impressed 'ST'.
