Arnaud Barraud (1942-) was born in New Zealand. He studied Architecture for a time in the early 1960s, then spent a few years as a painter and sculptor, living in Mexico, before becoming a professional potter in 1970. In 1976, he migrated to Sydney; then moved to Melbourne in 1980, where he still lives and works, specialising in affordable functional and decorative stoneware. He is a member of the Dandenong Ranges Ceramic Group. Work is marked with an impressed 'AB'."
