Peter Andersson (1952- ) was born in Broken Hill, NSW. From 1977-80, he trained as a potter at McLarenVale Pottery with Rod Pedler, at Cherryville Studios with Henri Luijckx, and at the Jam Factory, before setting up his own studio at Stirling East, SA. By 1986, he had moved his studio to Glynde, SA. He returned to the Jam Factory as Creative Director of the Ceramics Studio from 1989-90, then moved to Nairne in the Adelaide Hills. His work, which is characterised by dry glazes on textured surfaces evoking ancient civilisations, is marked with an impressed 'PA'.
