Tim Strachan
Tim Strachan (1954- ) trained at the Jam Factory in Adelaide under Jeff Mincham in 1980-81, following a certificate course in ceramics. He continues to work from his Unity Gallery and studio at Oakbank in the Adelaide Hills today. He is best known for his stoneware and porcelain pieces with crackle glazes and brushwork decoration and his portfolio also includes wood fired, ash glazed terracotta pieces and pure white carved vases and bowls. Work may be marked with an incised 'T.S.' or 'T. Strachan'.
