Barbara Mason has a workshop in Heathcote, NSW, which she established in 1972. She studied part-time at Gymea TAFE and taught there part-time in the late 1970s and 1980s. She is a long-time member of the Inner City Clayworkers' Gallery Cooperative in Glebe and also exhibits at nearby Gallery Adagio. She specialises in glazed stoneware and porcelain, unglazed coloured porcelain pieces and, more recently, burnished porcelain bowls with a transparent glaze. Work may be marked 'Barbara Mason' with a felt-tipped pen.
