Nina Bierman (1943- ) and Jean-Jacques Vaschalde (1944- ) are potters based at Tamborine Village just south of Brisbane in Queensland. Bierman was born in Holland and Vaschalde in France. They both started working full time as potters in the mid-1970s after training at the Queensland Institute of Technology. Their marks in the 1977 and 1981 directories are given as 'Nina' and 'Jean'.
