Stephen O'Leary's S'OL Pottery was registered as a business name in Victoria from 1995-1998. A 1997 article in Pottery in Australia describes the two areas in which he works: fine copper red table wares and carved shard-like sculptures with dry glazes. A videorecording of an artforum lecture given to visual theory students at the School of Visual, Performing and Media Arts at Deakin University was made in the same year. Work may be marked with a black printed stamp reading 'Stephen O'Leary'.
