Tahune Pottery was a sheltered workshop located in Grove, Tasmania, a suburb in the Huon Vallery south of Hobart. It was started in 1981 and, by 1986, had gained a reputation for the quality of work produced by its employees. The potters made a wide range of functional stoneware, hand-thrown, slip cast and press-moulded. The pots were sold in the showroom, and in various outlets in Tasmania and interstate. While the pottery still has directory entries on the Internet, it had closed by 2005. Work may be marked with an impressed 'Tahune Pottery Huon, TAS', 'TP' in a circle, and the TP in a circle mark inside a map of Tasmania.
