Vincent Greg Ryan (1949- ) trained at Fremantle Technical College then, with seven former students of the college, helped to set up the Kiln Shelf Gallery co-operative in 1979, first in Mosman Park, then Claremont. In 1984 and 1987, he exhibited a range of work at the Fremantle Art Gallery and one of his blossom jars is in the Fremantle Art Centre collection. He later moved to Mandurah south of Perth and set up the Clayfoot Studio there. ABN records indicate that he moved again to the Denmark region in the south of the state where he practiced until 2009. Work may be marked with an incised 'Greg Ryan'.
