Bruce Morrow (1928-2012) is best known as a ballet dancer and instructor. In the 1940s and 1950s, he was a member of the Boravansky Ballet. In 1961, he became the artistic director of the newly-formed Ringwood Ballet Group. In 1971, he took up a position on the staff of the Australian Ballet School. In later life, however, he was also involved in running visual art galleries and as a potter, working from a studio in the Dandenong Ranges, Victoria. His ceramics works are marked with an impressed 'BM' and may also be incised 'Bruce Morrow'.
