Round stoneware box with a complex squared-off profile and pointed top to lid, glazed brown with some smoky black detail and incised linear decoration.

Stamped on side at base, half obscured by glaze, with the Leach Pottery, St Ives, seal and the word 'England'.

10 cm high and 13 cm in diameter.

The edge of the lid is slightly chipped all round from use. None of the chips are large but three or four are visible from the outside (see image).
