Large, surprisingly light, spherical vase with abstract painterly surface. The rim and base are painted black and the body a dark tan decorated with black spots and broadly-applied ochre brushstrokes accented in white.

Signed on the base 'R Taylor'.

46 cm high and 46 cm in diameter.

In good condition, with some marks on the foot ring from the making.

Provenance: Bought new from Berrima Galleries, Berrima, 2007, but probably dating from the mid 1980s.
