Stoneware jar with warm brown glaze and large floral motifs on each of the four sides made using the resist technique in shades of crimson and tan and highlighted with trailed white slip. The jar has an unglazed rim designed to take a ceramic lid, but was bought with a cork stopper.

Painted on base 'Preston'.

13 cm high and 17 cm in diameter.

In good condition.
