Very large wood-fired salt-glazed bowl squared off at the rim, with four handles, and rounded at the base.

Unmarked but very similar to a salt-glazed "bum bowl" illustrated in Pottery in Australia, 15/2, 1976, p. 32.

19 cm high and 34 cm in diameter.

There is a small area on the edge of one of the handles mended with white slip and the inside has fine lines and marks of use; otherwise in good condition.
