Beautifully made, spherical lidded jar with finely crazed ivory glaze and large crab on both sides, hand painted in brown oxide by the painter Donald Green.

Impressed on side at base 'CS' and dated c. 1981, based on two other works by Sanders decorated by Green in the Powerhouse Museum..

26 cm high.

In good condition.
